Big Woods began in 2009 as a microbrewery and gastropub in Nashville, Indiana, tucked into a small alley in the heart of Brown County's vibrant artists' colony and popular tourist destination. What started as a cozy gathering spot quickly captured the hearts of locals and visitors alike, becoming known for its welcoming atmosphere, bold flavors, and authentic Hoosier hospitality.

As the demand for the Big Woods experience grew, the brand expanded across Indiana. Big Woods Pizza Co. opened across the alley in 2011, followed by Big Woods Bloomington in 2014 and a beautiful new location in Speedway in 2016. The family continued to grow with Noblesville and Edinburgh in 2020, bringing the Big Woods experience to even more communities.

Today, every Big Woods location serves up the same combination of crave-worthy comfort food, craft beer from Quaff ON! Brewing Co., and handcrafted spirits from Hard Truth Distilling Co. Along with great food and drinks, guests can always expect a generous helping of the Hoosier hospitality that made Big Woods a beloved Indiana destination.
