Alabama Shakespeare Festival presents the delicious comedy Chicken & Biscuits, June 4th through June 21st.
Sisters Baneatta and Beverly don’t get along, but when they reunite at their father’s funeral -- and the whole wacky family comes to pay their respects -- everyone tries hard to mind their manners. The homegoing turns into a feast of family drama, however, when a shocking secret is revealed at the church alter. Sibling rivalry reaches a fever pitch, and high-energy hysterics take center stage, but this laugh-out-loud Broadway comedy ultimately dishes up a healthy serving of humor, heart, and healing.
